There are 14 metro area counties of Atlanta that encompass over 50 municipalities. The metro area spans nearly 50 miles in all directions that offer countless planned communities of new homes ranging in mid $100's to 1 million. Atlanta can be divided into four, geographic regions. The counties (and the cities) within each region are considered part of the metro area. The majority of the City of Atlanta is located in Fulton County.

Atlanta was named as one of the top five cities in America in two major categories, business and careers. Forbes magazine has stated, “The telecom downturn hit the region hard, but homebuilding remains strong. For 11 straight years the Atlanta metro area has led the nation in housing construction.”

Atlanta's climate is mild throughout the year though with some chance of snow in December and January. High temperatures and humidity in the summer months are common, so spring and fall are the best times to visit the city.

Despite rising home prices demand continues to grow. Purchasing real estate in Atlanta can be a challenge depending on the price range but Atlanta has several new home communities that cater to all families from the starter homes to the executive homes.
