Expect summer highs to average in the mid-90s F, with July being the hottest (it's not unusual for temperatures to be above 100 F). Humidity runs 35%-80% in the summer, which can be fairly uncomfortable for those who aren't used to it. Summer visitors should pace themselves and wear light, loose clothing and a hat with a brim -- the Texas sun is intense.
