Being a part of such a significant piece of Boone County history makes M/I Homes happy. The Whitestown, Indiana-based Giles family owned the Heritage property. The Giles family has owned a stunning, enormous walnut tree for many years. Family members planted it when they were young, and it is now included in our community memorial as you enter The Heritage. Recently, the community of Whitestown received a donation that would help preserve the family's tradition by receiving the walnut tree and two barns. As we continue to construct brand-new houses in Whitestown, Indiana, this is incredibly significant to us and other local people.
