Even with this cooler weather, home sales are still outpacing 2016. There were over 150 more homes sold in November of 2017 compared to 2016. There was a total of 2,324 homes sold during the month according to the MLS. San Antonio has experienced a four percent year-over-year increase. With over 1,000 addtional homes sold this year as of December 13th from last year, this looks like it will be the largest year yet in real estate. The average sales price rose seven percent to $256,253. Half of the homes sold in November were priced between $200,000 and $500,000. Homes priced under $200,000 made up nearly 44 percent of the market's sales.
