October 2018 Charlotte, NC Real Estate Market Conditions

As of October 31, 2018, the number of homes on the market increased by 108 units in Charlotte, a rise of 4.2% to 2,653 homes. The number of months supply of homes for sale went up by 11.1% to 2 months. The median sales price nudged up 7.9% to $232,500. Another hopeful sign is in the percentage of original list price received, which – finally! – has dropped by 1.1% to 96.8%. That’s not a big drop, but it’s a solid indication we’re seeing real movement toward the balance between buyers and sellers we mentioned in earlier reports.
