The Houston Chronicle recently reported that existing home sales in the 10 villages of The Woodlands are outpacing the Houston area by almost 2 to 1 in the percentage of increase in the median price per square foot. The older villages in the area are seeing a price boost due in part to a shortage of new homes and their location closer to the Woodlands Town Center and I-45.

The Woodlands is an area that people move to in order to raise their family in a superb, safe area.  The woodlands is a very family oriented community with great schools.  The Woodlands has great wooded sidewalks for biking and walking throughout.  There are also a number of public parks.  One park in particular is Northshore Park which is located on the North Shore of Lake Woodlands.  You can take the kiddos there and feed the ducks, have a picnic, let the kids play on the amazing playground equipment, or go to the park pavilion on a Sunday afternoon for a free concert in the park which happens a few months out of the year.  The Woodlands waterway is a great place to go take a cruise on the water taxi or you can visit a restaurant or bar overlooking the waterway.  All in all, The Woodlands has it all!
