The Alpharetta GA real estate market has slowed as expected during the Holiday season. An interesting statistic is the number of sales in Fulton County as a whole has gone down but the average sales price is moving upward. Alpharetta continues to be a great place to live with many benefits to its' residents. For the month of November, there were 82 homes sold with Alpharetta ranging from $30,000 to $1,675,000. the average days on market were 86.

Currently there are 802 active single family homes available within Alpharetta with an average price of $549,000. Prices range from $70,000 to $8.4 million dollars. The average bedrooms are 5 and the average baths are 4 for the area. Still present are the REO properties and short sale homes that continue to enter the marketplace. There are 138 pending sales within the area that average $356,000. The Country Club of the South had several sales and was quite active. Other subdivisions that were active were Doublegate, Windward and Glen Abbey.
