The median-priced single-family detached (SFD) home in North San Diego
County decreased 2.21 percent from $409,058 in October 2011 to $400,000 in
November 2011; monthly prices have declined in seven months of 2011.
November’s median price was the lowest reported since May 2009. Year-over
median SFD price in North San Diego County decreased 13.04 percent year-over
from $460,000 in November 2010, the tenth consecutive month of year-over price
declines and the largest year-over decline since June 2009.

Homes and real estate for sale in Encinitas, Ca. 92024 has seen an increase in volume from 15 SFD sold in October 2011 with an average sales price of $862,587 and average square footage of 3,043 to 25 SFD sold in November 2011 with an average sales price of $784,900 and an average square footage of 2,329.

Tho we saw a decease in average sales prices we did see an increase in average price per square foot from $302.37 a square foot in October to $383.24 in November for homes sold.

Currently Encinitas has 152 single family detached homes listed on the market for sale with an average asking price of $1,309,460 and an average price per square foot of $474.83, the average home size on the market is 2,969.
