Valencia at Del Sur: What a Community!

by racheal

Valencia Master BathroomWe’ve told you about Valencia at Del Sur, where San Diego heritage meets a Mediterranean vibe. We’ve even told you about the Del Sur Ranch House, a facility that takes the community clubhouse to a whole new level. But have we told you about the larger Del Sur community? We love the Valencia neighborhood, but there are lots of things to love about the large master planned community that hosts it.

Del Sur is nestled among the rolling hills of San Diego, which affords it its own distinct microclimate – one with cool ocean breezes and summer temperatures lower than communities east of I-15. It’s home to thousands of residents, so within walking distance there are several community parks, heated pools, hiking trails and over 1,000 acres of open space, along with the newly opened Del Sur Elementary School. And yes, once again we would like to remind you about the Del Sur Ranch House (it really is incredible!).

This is a viable community, where residents gather for neighborhood block parties, picnics, playgroups as well as for community sponsored events. More than 250 residents come out for the Annual Summer Barbecue, Harvest Festival and Holiday Event, while more intimate groups participate in regular nature hikes, play dates, and soccer. There are numerous clubs for residents to join including, poker club, wine tasting, bridge clubs and book clubs.

Of course, we love the new homes at Valencia at Del Sur more than anything; so if you believe it may be  right for you, stop in Sunday through Friday noon to 4pm, or Saturday 10am to 4pm. For address and directions, call the sales office at (858) 367-8720, Monday 1 pm to 5 pm, or Tuesday through Sunday 10 am to 5 pm.
